May & Johnson, PC (“May & Johnson) recently learned that an unknown, unauthorized third party gained access to some of our employees’ email accounts. Upon identifying the issue, we promptly secured the email accounts and began an internal investigation. We also engaged a forensic security firm to assist with our investigation and confirm the security of our email and computer systems. The forensic investigation recently concluded and determined that the unauthorized third party accessed the email accounts.
Based on the results of the forensic investigation, May & Johnson conducted a review of the involved email accounts to determine if they contained any personal information.
